Michigan Congresswoman Candace Miller spoke on the floor yesterday, calling for Barack Obama to apologize to Sarah Palin and the women of America for calling Palin a pig.
Problems with this:
1. Obama did NOT cal Palin a pig. Obama in fact did not even mention her name. He was referring to McCain's policies, and his "faux change" candidacy when he said:
"You can put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig."
2. John McCain himself has used the phrase many times; most recently in May 2008 when criticizing Hillary Clinton's health care plan.
3. Miller did NOT demand an apology from McCain for using the same statement when talking about Hillary.
What can you do? Call Her Out!
Tell Candace Miller that you DEMAND that she DEMANDs John McCain apologize to Hillary Clinton and the rest of American women for his "misogynistic comments."
What's good for the pig is good for the piglet.
